Take note, @darrenpjones.bsky.social, @torstenbell.bsky.social, @imogenwalker.bsky.social, @shabanamahmood.bsky.social, and all you other Labour MPs who still believe we'll feel obliged to vote for you in 2029.

[Spoiler: we won't.]

Government could crack down on pro-Palestinian protest chants, PM says The government needs to

You can lock up as many people as you want for chanting or protesting against genocide.

You will never scrub away the truth about that genocide - or your own complicity in it.

You are just ensuring that you will be damned all the more for what you have done.

Lucky for Nigel Farage that he never met that bloke who took bribes from the Russians, otherwise the media would be all over it.

Greta Thunberg is such a class act, even when she's been horrifically mistreated by the IDF she does not make it about herself and remains consistent in her messaging in wanting the relentless campaign of oppression and genocide against the Palestinian people to end.

Ah! More Krasnov policies as dictated to Starmer via the ardent Krasnovโ€™ite accolyte Glasman

There can be absolutely no dispute about where the fault lies for Brexit, the fault lies with the right, predominantly the Tories.

For anyone who doesnโ€™t support the 3 main far right parties the LDโ€™s, alongside Greens, SNP and Plaid will be the only choice. An examination, closer to the GE, of the policy platforms/manifestoโ€™s of those progressive alternatives to Lab & the Refories should guide progressives in their decision.

Although there may be a few still who label themselves as such; truth is there arenโ€™t any and hasnโ€™t been for a number of years.

No, this a far right Govt facing an insurgency from 2 even more extreme far right parties. To be clear this is the far right battling it out between themselves.

British politics is basically a doom spiral of increasingly unhinged hostile policies.

Reform says something unhinged
โฌ‡๏ธ
Labour counters with their own unhinged policy
โฌ‡๏ธ
Tories shout from back they'll be even more unhinged
โฌ‡๏ธ
Reform announces different unhinged proposal in response
โฌ‡๏ธ
And repeat...๐Ÿ”

Wish I could say I was shocked, but here's the Labour government constraining the right to peaceful protest again...

'You can protest but only according to our rules. The rules are: you're not allowed to use any of the tactics that make protest effective.'

Trying to restrict the right of the population to protest against a genocide, a genocide that the Govt has, to the UKโ€™s eternal shame, failed to call out. This Labour Govt continues to โ€˜marchโ€™ on to the (extreme) far right beat.

In case you hadnโ€™t noticed Labour is no longer a choice for the liberal left vote; theyโ€™ve made that abundantly clear through their rhetoric & actions. They donโ€™t want the liberal left within a million miles of their party so we will kindly oblige them.

Starmer isnโ€™t a decent man as you highlighted a few lines after saying he was a decent man๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ And of course he is amply demonstrating that himself, by his constant demonising of immigrants and creation of a ultra hostile environment for them for his own political ends. No decent man does that.

Zack Polanski saying what every politician should be saying,

"It's problematic to weaponise the synagogue attack to silence protest in this country against the genocide in Gaza"

"These are separate things and we should condemn them both"

Very sad to hear of the horrendous and senseless terrorism attack on a synagogue in Manchester. Thoughts with the victims and their loved ones. Huge admiration for the bravery of those who prevented this from being an even bigger terrorist atrocity.

Globalisation and climate change are similar examples - they're happening, can't be switched off easily, and require countries to take actions individually and collectively in response.

And leaders are in denial about them.

Keir Starmer sees himself in a battle against Reform. His speeches just amplify Farage's message | LBC The Prime Minister frames this moment as a crossroads for the country, yet it feels more like one for his government and for Labour itself.

With Starmer feeding Farage's narrative that human rights laws, including the Refugee Convention, are an obstacle for governments, and that migration is an "issue to be solved", here's why all he is doing is emboldening Reform๐Ÿ‘‡ #r4today

Donโ€™t exhaust yourself any further just decide you wonโ€™t be voting for Labour at next GE , they are so far right they are completely beyond the pale.

01.10.2025 15:39 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Exactly. The words mean nothing when policies & agendas hostile to immigrants, disabled, the trans community are out in place.

He also made it clear today that his vision is of a Britain far more economically isolated internationally.

30.09.2025 21:33 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

He downgraded the value of universities once again a favoured ploy of the far right. Heโ€™s made it crystal clear since he became leader and continually re-iterated it, including today, that the only section of the population he is going to govern for are โ€œworking (class) peopleโ€.

30.09.2025 21:33 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Heโ€™s already created another โ€œisland of strangersโ€ mess with his version of Mayโ€™s hostile environment as outlined by Mahmood. Heโ€™s apeing Tories/Reform in deriding regulation/regulators & โ€œbureaucratsโ€ (shorthand for civil/public servants).

My conference pass was revoked for asking difficult questions: this is Keir Starmerโ€™s Labour | Owen Jones I was told it was a โ€˜safeguardingโ€™ issue. This speaks to a party that has not only lost its soul, but is scared of the truth, writes Guardian columnist Owen Jones

There is a final & overwhelmingly telling aspect that proves the โ€˜planโ€™ is purely for the benefit of Krasnov, Bliar, Israel and the West et al. And even more distressingly this is repeated in ahhโ€™s article; there is not one single mention of the word โ€˜genocideโ€™ in either plan or article.

30.09.2025 18:38 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Itโ€™s a plan that provides absolutely no chance of any meaningful discussions on the creation of a Palestinian state thatโ€™s was even before Israelโ€™s extreme far right Govt totally rubbished the idea that there could ever be any progress under this โ€˜planโ€™.
