Im November 2023 entdecken die deutschen Ermittler Videos auf einer pornografischen Website, die Titel tragen wie »Ukrainisches Mädchen« oder »Ukrainische Sub-Sklavin hart benutzt«. Der Mann, der darauf zu sehen ist, ist offenbar Ben R., nach Ansicht der Behörden hat er die Videos selbst aufgenommen

Dass die sichergestellten Datenträger insgesamt 5700 Fotos und rund 420 Videos enthalten, die sexualisierte Gewalt an Kindern zeigen, nicht nur Nacktaufnahmen, sondern auch sexuelle Handlungen; dass darauf auch mutmaßliche Vergewaltigungen dokumentiert sind
