We really do have to applaud the CSA’s new brass led by Kevin Blue and Peter Augruso, and the relatively-new CSME CEO James Johnson for getting this over the line.

Seems like we’re finally able to properly move forward with this sport!

At long last, Canada Soccer and Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment (formerly CSB) have a new deal.

-Joint governance
-New financial incentives
-CSA licensing now w/ CSME, joining sponsorships and media
-Wider broadcasting goals

So much more collaborative.

Tough break for Vancouver, but Cruz Azul's goals are coming from isolated incidents, and that's better than being dominated.

Unlucky bounce and big rebound. VFC isn't exactly right in this, but they've shown good life. Need to sort out how to break out down the right.

While I’m not crazy about the new CPL logo, I do really like the League1 rebrands being in tune with the CPL.

Great colour schemes and the North Star becoming an arrow up is a very smart move.
