Went to a collage making workshop and here's my first ago at making one. The theme was Warsaw.

Thank you! Not a lot, this is from the last roll of my first 5-pack I had of it: I shoot whatever I can get my hands on for cheap and I found a great deal on this. It's flexible and has natural colors, doesn't have very strong look of its own, but if you want you can edit it to match Gold or Portra.

It’s kind of cool to see my improvement not just in things like composition or editing, but also in the physical act of taking a picture.

Happy with this one because I held the camera above my head to take photo at 1/15s and managed to keep the vertical lines straight and avoid motion blur; this is straight from the negative with no geometry correction in post.

Canon SLRs seem to be overall a little overpriced (especially AE-1), but the middle range EOS are still going for ok prices

I understand it, because despite being worse in almost all aspects:

It's kind of crazy that this camera with a lens goes for less than even bottom tier point&shoots. It will only get better once I get some decent wide angle for it.

Cycle: I buy lots of expired film because it’s cheap and “waste-proof.” I shoot one roll, it looks amazing. The rest instantly becomes precious and irreplaceable. I now worry about wasting film again.

a photo 1 year in the making - I noticed this place last winter and took a phone picture. Then recently I've browsed my photos, got reminded of it and came back there with my cameras and film at the same hour, on a similarly gloomy day :)

I know right?! I haven't seen anything like it. I honestly prefer these old Superias to Portra. Here's some shots from my previous batch expired in 2006.

I got my hands on some vintage, almost 2 decades old Superia 200 and it's so damn good. I will cherish those remaining 5 rolls

I had tried it a couple of time with success and in my hubris decided that MY self-timer must be different and will not be ruin this shutter 😄

If I don't find a hack to get it unstuck, it's probably going to cost me dearly to repair so I might just buy another IIIS (which are decently cheap) because the lenses are awesome.

Probably messed up by trying to to use a self-timer to get a picture of everyone. This is what it looks like. Shutter fires on advancing the lever though sometimes I need to click on the shutter.

I suppose that was inevitable when I called my Retina IIIS "old reliable" - somehow I had got my shutter stuck in such a way that I can't move to time B. Shutter is partially open and despite that, it still "fires" on other times, with that partially open position as the default
