Okay, I can't let this one go. I live in Ireland, not the UK, but the use of this image by a supposedly socialist party is so stupid and offensive, I'm going to get stuck in.

Let me explain to you why any experienced illustrator/designer could have stopped you making so many miserable mistakes. 1/

The win 10 lenovo I bought refurb came out in 2016 & still works fine - I'm only replacing cos win 10's not being upgraded. There's nothing soecial about Mac internals, it's screen & ui you pay for & ui's just habits. Lenovo keyboard has lovely solid feel to it, a big win from my pov.

For something a bit lighter & more battery life, £500 refurb is plenty

I might glance at a Mont blanc in a window display, maybe even weigh it in my hand, but if I'm going to carry something about to write with I'm happier with a bic. Okay, a pilot. Retractable.

All solid, do the job, bought refurb for less than £350. If you buy from the biz lines there's no need to buy new. From past experience they'll keep running till MS force win 12 or techbro clippy on the universe. Battery life is 3-4 hours real world use.

Lenovo thinkpads x line are solid & reliable. I recently got laptops for me & fam cos death of win 10. Lenovo x390 as gen household, Hp elitebook 850 & x360 for me (writing - word, fadein, fucking final fucking draft - & procrastinating) and student daughter (graphics, photoshop, 24 hour streaming).

This is not a 'but let's hear the other side' situation. She is an MP and her statement was racist in both phrasing and intent. That is a statement of fact, and to 'yes but' demonstrates the most feeble moral cowardice. I realise the post is clickbait BS headline, but I still expect better.
