(but for real it’s important to follow all the little rules, even when they seem silly, and I am very pleased to have the support of @dwsoc.bsky.social )
Panel 1: A nervous news anchor sits with a piece of paper at his desk. The corner of the panel reads “blues news” which is the channel. The news caption reads “trump clinton blowjob email” in the corner Panel 2: the news anchor says “I don’t want to read the news today” a voice off screen responds “you gotta read it” the news caption reads “bubba possibly horse???” Panel 3: the news anchor sits nervously again. The news captjon reads “trump hiding from press” Panel 4: the news anchor says “please don’t make me read the news today” the voice off screen again responds “read the news” the news captions reads “putin have blowjob pictures??”

I have so many thoughts on the SAMMI thing, but the one thing that fills me with rage is one of the original devs pulling the "if you don't like it, guess you better learn to code and make it yourself" card.

I remember a recent Reddit post in a recruiting sub where recruiters were complaining to each other about how ghost jobs are a made up thing, and then they would all describe how they post ghost job listings along with an excuse why what they’re doing isn’t posting a ghost job when that’s all it is

18.11.2025 14:24 — 👍 8447 🔁 1977 💬 89 📌 47Quite frankly, I find that the people who are rejecting the generative AI tech, who are refusing products with that kind of AI, have a much more thorough understanding of it than those who are buying into the AI hype bubble. The only people dazzled by it are CEOs who can't see past the dollar signs.
17.11.2025 15:32 — 👍 719 🔁 101 💬 10 📌 0I can understand asking for nuance in these discussions, but deliberately muddying the water by bringing up automation tools that people understand are not generative AI and asking for a middle ground is disingenuous. The nuanced position is that people are roundly rejecting the tech, respect that.

It is incredibly off-putting to many customers, an absolute deal-breaker, yet there is no flip side to that, no consumer base clamouring for it, no demand. They can only try to wear people down into accepting it.

The sticks I bought in August that I just had to buy for another client build cost almost twice what I paid. And it'll get worse.

THIS IS HUGE! Researchers have just identified a powerful new antibiotic that is 100x STRONGER than existing drugs against deadly superbugs like MRSA and VRE. Hiding in a well-known soil bacterium, pre-methylenomycin C lactone KILLS drug-resistant bacteria WITHOUT triggering resistance.

I don’t care about legality and neither do you. You want to play your game and enjoy it guilt free.
I want human beings to be able to work in the industry they trained half their lives for.
It’s a moral issue. It’s a human issue.
I say this with empathy toward every struggling actor who is just trying to make due:
Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.
It. Is. Wrong.
Here’s an example of circled things from just the “i got that dog in me” that look ultra suspect for the inconsistencies found in AI images. I found in other threads people tested by describing the image to AI and it generated near identical images, a hallmark of genAI is consistency in generation
