In any other administration this would be front page news for days on end. Members of Congress would be calling for his resignation.

09.07.2025 14:02 โ ๐ 43 ๐ 7 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0NEW from me โ I wrote about FEMA Acting Administrator David Richardson, who has been completely silent and out of view since deadly floods devastated Texas last week, and spoke to staffers about what it's like to respond to a disaster with no leader.

The 6 month thing is the time in which the debris removal should be completed and completely different from the cost share Iโm pretty sure! And idk if they requested additional time to complete that work, or just requested the 100% cost share. Iโm no debris expert ahaha

Not a good guy.
Do not frame Cameron Hamilton as some kind of resistance hero for simply saying FEMA should exist.
He accepted a position he was not qualified for and has spent months overseeing the illegal dismantling of key parts of the agency to the detriment of the safety of the American public.
My work here is done.
Peace be with you.
The dismissal of NCCC/FEMA Corps has been grating on me even more than other firings.
These are young people effectively volunteering their time for public service, often working in difficult conditions& genuinely helping the ppl in this country most in need.
You canโt ask for better than that.
God. This just sucks.
17.04.2025 00:45 โ ๐ 56 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It sucks so much. I did it after I graduated from college in 2016 because I didnโt know what I was going to do after graduation. I did FEMACorps, and I still work for FEMA to this day. It changed my life for the better, I literally donโt know where I would be now without it
17.04.2025 00:59 โ ๐ 29 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Destroy DOGE, undo every bit of its work, and render every DOGE employee unemployable in their professional field for life. End their careers and shame them in every way we can. And make them see that we fixed the government and everything they did was for naught.

24.02.2025 03:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0People would actually care about gutting FEMA if they understood it meant the possibility of things like not receiving tornado warnings, no search and rescue teams coming to save them in an earthquake, no flood insurance, no extra medical help, no money to rebuild.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and itโs your choice.
But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.
They arenโt firing for a reason.
