Housing here is expensive too. My SIL inherited some money from his grandmother, and my daughter and he are both working, so they bought their new place.
Much of his inheritance was shares in Novo Nordisk. Thanks to Trump & his tariffs, they are worth less that 1/2 of what they were 18 mo ago 😣

Same here. My daughter and her BF are getting the keys to their new apartment in Noerrebro, Copenhagen and moving in today.
I am so excited and happy for them.
Even though it is a terrifying world to grow up in.
