I'm saying that I'm willing to see what he says from now until November.

But I do, in fact, distrust what people say on campaign, especially when they over promise, as many do.

I wasn't given much evidence of listening to Jewish concerns. I was given evidence of someone campaigning for political office. That's why I'm waiting to see what happens.

EXACTLY. Not at the feet of Hamas, and the loss of Israeli life was paired with the loss of Palestinian, even though on Oct 8, only those invading Israel had been killed.

At the least, it was tone-deaf.

Is he making statements about Israeli loss of life?

I mostly hear it in context of anti-Israel protests.

Did he acknowledge it might make Jews uncomfortable? I would hope he would.

Did he acknowledge that Jews might feel differently about this phrase? Or did he use the Holocaust Museum as an excuse?

Are you sure about that? Intifada was the term the Palestinians used for two series of attacks against Israelis, including mass bombings.

When he didn't denounce the phrase "Globalize the Intifada," which is a rallying call for antiJewish violence.

There's a difference between "licking Israel's boots" and not siding with terrorists.

But calling for a genocide is just fine?

I didn't vote for Cuomo. I left both of them off my ballot.

And I am scared because he's still defending inflammatory language at a time of heightened antisemitism.

I am also very concerned with his making promises that show he doesn't know what the mayor can do.

You made an incorrect statement about the money that goes to Israel. I'd think you'd be glad to know this.

Going to a synagogue during a campaign doesn't say anything about his feelings towards Jews one way or another. It's a normal thing when campaigning for mayor of NY.

Modification of rhetoric is also not strange for political campaign.

Let's see what he says in the coming months.

I am honestly scared. There are other reasons I didn't want him - he is making promises he literally can't fulfill because mayors can't do that, and that's something he should know.

But he also refused to listen to Jewish concerns about his positions and he just learned that he doesn't have to.

You also remember that *Israel* was invaded and had civilians massacred, also raped and kidnapped? By a force threatening to annihilate them?

And it's going back to the US to support our weapons industry that employs our people. Plus the money Israel has to spend on ammunition, which is not covered by these grants.

Other countries have similar deals.

Israel has been supplying humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Do you mean the money that Israel is required to spend on US weaponry? So that it all goes back to the US anyway?

And while $20B is, objectively, a lot of money, Israel's GDP is $500B, and the US tax revenue is $5 TRILLION. So, maybe do a little research instead of blind hate.

Why I put him second

I have friends active in local politics who think very highly of Stringer.

We voted early. I put him first, and Stringer second. Mamdani and Cuomo nowhere.

I think a self-sufficient Gaza with a non-terrorist government that actually cares about the people would be the best solution.

The same for Palestinians, correct?
