it's insane that even with all that work the Alien still looks like a magazine cutout pasted over the frame, when the aliens from a few years earlier still look top notch. That whole "Let's CGI everything!" really left such a skidmark, an almost entire era of movies poisoned to look trash forever :|

For sure but this is about breach of trust more than preventing AI theft. Right now I don't think you can ever truly prevent the latter, but I can definitely avoid willingly and neatly giving my data over to the parties at fault. It's more about adding friction I suppose.

Yeah I see what you mean, there's an emotional aspect to it sometimes with these kind of music, sometimes it's just the right music at the right time. I'm at least glad to have a bunch of stuff to try :D Not that it's possible to be in a drought these days but it's harder to find good stuff too

lool it does sound like Ash Code xD But yeah I see exactly like you mean, I think I appreciated it more because I don't have a lot of the root influences in my library so it sounds newer to my ears than what it is but it doesn't have a lot of edge/experimental which is what truly sells me on a band

They collaborated a bunch through the years, both as their bands and solo between Hante and Solveig Matthildur who has great solo works too. They also cite Boy Harsher as influence which is also really great but you start to veer off into a grittier more electronic darkwave, but they're solid too!

Really nice one, one more to the pile of bands I've grabbed off you :p wish I could pay it back even a third! Maybe Snow Ghosts you'd like? Or Kælan Mikla which was a big inspiration on Hante/MM
