If you can put in a second SSD it makes life so much easier. Remove the windows drive before install, that way you have two separate systems with no risk at all of Windows interfering with the install process.

Asphalt Legends wouldn't launch at all. Rocket League would start to launch and crash almost instantly.

I'm a hopper, so no big deal to just wipe and start again.

Gave it a try and all was fine until I tried my games. Two didn't launch (via Epic or Steam) and I couldn't get my old xbox controller to work at all.

Fair enough. I think what we have here are people justly fighting for a cause, but unfortunately standing under the same banner, as the ones in the article you quoted. To link the 80yr old retired priest & Sue Parfitt, 83, as the same as the perpetrators in Bristol, does seem a huge stretch IMHO.
