Got a chance to spend a bit of time playing Pokémon Pokopia ahead of its release. Very cute and very relaxing, but the thing that had me most intrigued is how the game seemed to be teasing some sort of calamity that disappeared all the humans. Some early impressions:

A little sad at how much generational analysis is just “look at these self-starters who know exactly how to work seven jobs to afford a carrot”

An Ark showed me augmented reality’s true artistic potential An Ark — playing at The Shed until March 1st — uses AR glasses to take you on a journey to the afterlife.

Wrote about what it felt like to have Ian McKellen and Golda Rosheuvel staring directly into my soul and telling me how I'm going to die while seeing An Ark at The Shed

New follow-up: Many people helped Jeffrey Epstein whitewash his reputation. Reputation management firms billed for thousands of dollars; SEO consultants jumped in; and when called upon, scientists did him favors that helped his Google presence.

Bad Bunny's performance was very Puerto Rican and also very, very, VERY East Coast. As Kendrick's performance was both Black and West Coast. These people are mad at distinctly American performances because they don't like the color of the box the gift came in.

This loser admits she doesn't use her real name when she uses AI to write books and doesn't reveal they're AI. Which means she knows it's wrong and she knows it's shameful and does it anyway.

The New York Times thinks that's neat though! Unsurprising that this toilet paper rag aligns with hacks
