I truly believe part of the job of a goalkeeper is to look calm, cool, and collected. To present an air of confidence that says "whatever is happning out there on the pitch, between these two sticks, I got it." Lammens has that. Onana had an arrogance, and Bayindir looks perpetually terrified.

If there's ANY truth to the rumors that the Glazers are looking to sell, then regardless of if it happens or not, SJR and INEOS look like absolute fools for the deal they made, and for trusting the Glazers to honor it long term.

You can't run a club on knee-jerk reactions, agreed. But 50 games is not knee-jerk when it's this bad. You can't run a top club by letting it languish in sub-mediocrity, either. Get busy living, or get busy dying.

Yes. The moment at Spurs vs Chelsea where they were a man down and he still had everyone of his defenders on the halfway line, while Chelsea went on to run rampant, I knew he wasn't a serious manager. Moreso than even Amorim, he is totally inflexible. I'm not sure he knows what "game state" is.

I have to disagree with both of you. These players are MUCH better than relegation form. The system they're in is a poor fit, and has been from the start.

We were unlucky that INEOS decided to choose this guy to run a team that didn't have ANY of the player profiles his system requires. A system that has our best player playing out of position.

Yeah, I really struggle with what this is supposed to accomplish when it's firing on all cylinders. What's the advantage? What are we hoping to leverage by sticking with it? I have no idea.

This has been my contention since the moment Amorim arrived. We were a squad quite ill-suited to his style. I felt it was a potentially bad appointment from the start because of this, and it's gone worse than even I imagined.
