holy hell claude makes it easy to write shaders

working on a multiplayer game using bun and three.js. currently using Tauri for distribution but I saw electrobun the other day and am keeping a close eye 👀

@why.bsky.team any chance to add tracing for new friends who added me from starter packs? i am showered with friends but know not from whence

trying to build a zero-dependency full stack app using Bun and it’s going pretty well? jarred and team have done a really nice job with the standard library. zod is the only non-domain-specific thing i really miss so far

“The Fisherman” by John Langan is great and an easy read.

“Wounds” by Nathan Ballingrud is maybe the most unsettling thing I’ve read. Loosely connected anthologies. Anything by Brian Evenson is also good if you like anthologies.

“Between Two Fires” by Chris Buehlman is one of my favorites ever.

i am glad the bluesky team are making fast pragmatic moves to keep the vibes good. it’s early. plenty of time later for bureaucracy.

there is something beautiful about the apparent fact that an eventual AGI will have been trained on an enormous body of human writing. great for alignment: presumably you would wish the best for Tolkien or whomever you grew up reading.

in any case, ups the odds we get what we deserve!

having decent general-purpose AI out in the world has really taken a lot of pressure off. hard to describe. if i stop trying to Understand All The Things for a bit it’s chill because my knowledgeable and patient friend will get me up to speed when i’m up for it (no rush).
