None of this shit is in the real world. It's an Enoch Powell wet dream made flesh.

Maybe this isn't vote chasing, maybe this just is who Labour are now.

I'm just surprised that anybody bollock naked in a garden in Perth in September would have anything to swing.

Anything Brexit didn't break, Johnson did.

Nothing like this ever happened before Brexit.

Before we get too carried away with this Damascene conversion, let's remember how much unpleasantness she was prepared to let go through on the nod before she considered enough was enough.

I went on 6 business trips to London last year and only got stabbed in the arse 3 times.

My granddad was a refugee, my wife, our close friends and those of our kids are either immigrants or the children of immigrants.

Do ministers ever think about the message their rhetoric on "handouts" and "golden tickets" for migrants sends about whether this is a government for people like us?

Labour would do better to pay attention to thisโฌ‡๏ธ rather than what some focus group tells them about winning over Reform voters.

If you are going to nail your colours to some radical last ditch ideology pitch, you might as well go for progressive policies to fix the cost of living issues, rather than going full pelt for the dark side

The origin of the name Calgie is not clear. It may well be based on your assumption but is more generally thought to be a derivation of the Scottish word 'cludgie'.

At what point does someone in the Labour hierarchy stop and think "Hmm, maybe the guys helping craft our policies actually ARE morons"?

I do hope those sensibles telling me that Labour's new policy was fair and sensible are enjoying Tommy Robinson's endorsement of it this morning.

That's who you've joined.

Tommy Robinson.

Do they intentionally pick someone from an ethnic minority background to deliver these policies, in the hope that it would somehow seem less xenophobic?

Tories went with Patel and Braverman. Would seem to be a thing.

What level of gruesomeness would a punishment need to be for Reform voting ghouls to heavily reject it, I wonder?

The rack
Public flogging
Beheading
Boiling in oil

Do you think the Labour leadership got together in the cabinet office and decided "We have a proud 125 year history of standing up for the poor, the disadvantaged and the downtrodden. Let's piss on it"

Let's demand that Farage tells us whose side he's on.

He won't but it will be fun watching him squirm.

Labour are moving further and further into Reform territory trying to win back phantom Labour defector votes, that simply don't exist.
There are real alternatives to Labour in the centre, and on the left. Labour need to acknowledge this or they could suffer the fate of the Tories from last year.

They think it's OK because they believe that we will have no option at the next election.
McSweeney thinks we will all hold our noses and vote Labour, rather than risk letting Reform in. I believe he is miscalculating.

The conditions imposed on the Germans after the armistice were those commensurate with an unconditional surrender. Many learned people believe it was the resentment about this (possibly justified) that brought Hitler to power.

Farage as ever, full of shit

I was getting the impression that the majority of people were accepting the need for the tax rise, and then they do this.
Make it make sense.
