None of this shit is in the real world. It's an Enoch Powell wet dream made flesh.
Maybe this isn't vote chasing, maybe this just is who Labour are now.

I'm just surprised that anybody bollock naked in a garden in Perth in September would have anything to swing.

Do ministers ever think about the message their rhetoric on "handouts" and "golden tickets" for migrants sends about whether this is a government for people like us?
Labour would do better to pay attention to thisโฌ๏ธ rather than what some focus group tells them about winning over Reform voters.

Tommy Robinson.
Do they intentionally pick someone from an ethnic minority background to deliver these policies, in the hope that it would somehow seem less xenophobic?
Tories went with Patel and Braverman. Would seem to be a thing.
It is so depressing watching the needless own goals by Labour and the Democrats.

He won't but it will be fun watching him squirm.
Labour are moving further and further into Reform territory trying to win back phantom Labour defector votes, that simply don't exist.
There are real alternatives to Labour in the centre, and on the left. Labour need to acknowledge this or they could suffer the fate of the Tories from last year.
They think it's OK because they believe that we will have no option at the next election.
McSweeney thinks we will all hold our noses and vote Labour, rather than risk letting Reform in. I believe he is miscalculating.

I was getting the impression that the majority of people were accepting the need for the tax rise, and then they do this.
Make it make sense.
