16.11.2025 22:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thatβs very interesting. Why was McSweeney the one to do that? How did he even get to be a major player?
16.11.2025 22:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not surprised but extremely disappointed to hear that.
16.11.2025 22:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I still cannot get my head round why McSweeney is there and why he has ever been taken seriously. Any insights would
be appreciated.

Leaders of the Labour Party? Are all its leaders in on this far right turn on immigration and asylum?
Far right activists love explaining how they are not racist and they are seeking to protect everyone from βillegalsβ. They are often paid handsomely for their political activity. I am sure they can justify whatever they do, to whoever meekly listens, whilst laughing all the way to the bank.
16.11.2025 21:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same here. Thank you for putting this into words so calmly and succinctly. I really couldnβt.
16.11.2025 14:45 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Today is not the day to argue "oh so you want Reform to win then" as an argument for Labour's indefensible and inhumane anti-asylum policies. At least be honest and own that you're defending racist policies promoted with genuinely far right talking points. Don't try and pretend this is "progressive"

The LP has betrayed its long time supporters, and I for one will not forgive or forget.

It would be interesting to know which Labour MPs or donors are connected to the companies that profit from the current asylum regime. There is big money in it.
15.11.2025 09:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Labour are no longer a credible alternative to the far right at all. Appeasing fascism never works. Aping it, as Labour are doing, is even worse. Obediently accepting Labourβs far right turn will open the door to fascism.

There is plenty of writing by far right intellectuals about the need to wait for the fading of memories. Who did most of todayβs far right grow up with and what stories were they told?

Strength is fleeing a warzone, making it to the UK despite the complete absence of safe routes, and then enduring the vicious border regime imposed by the likes of Mahmood, all through the determination to build a better life for yourself and your family.

Starmer says past governments have been "squeamish" talking about immigration. Bullshit.
Starmer isn't bravely breaking a taboo. He's blaming vulnerable people & deflecting attention from the super rich who hoard power & wealth.
