I’m not celebrating- I’m calling you out on an uninformed take and hit piece article you plan to write-

We have a conference (MAC)
We have the NIL resources

Plus disaster ramifications of dropping back down.

I mean we are ranked 26 in public school rankings and they are 23,24, and 25 respectively so that is exactly what a peer is. The NIL situation is way stronger than 50 FBS schools.

Taxpayers contribute 80 cents a year towards UMass football. The burning tax money narrative argument is poor. Our peer universities in public public school ranking all spend WAY more (NC State, VA Tech, Minnesota)

Have you done any research on the ramifications to dropping down to FCS on the athletic department or are you just gonna write a completely uninformed article?

UMass has put up more points on Georgia this season than Kentucky, Auburn, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
