I’m seeing teachers who constantly complain about their admin being spineless, incompetent, lazy, lacking follow-through on new initiatives, etc. now talking like they’re suddenly gonna become these hyper-dedicated MAGA supersoldiers. And it’s like, WHY?

The principal who’s too conflict-averse or lazy to put your worst co-worker on an improvement plan probably won’t bother to monitor for pride flags.

The superintendent who always folds when parents complain about phone policy probably won’t die on the hill of PragerU.

People are assuming that school/district administrations are going to more committed and competent about fascism than they are about their jobs generally. You shouldn’t do this.

That’s my point! One parental complaint about an issue often gets better results than months of carefully documented complaints from teachers.
