the instructions for the panel with the band are neat too—coloring instructions like “lightly varnished floor”, “shoes all black”, the removal of a stand (circled, “out”) etc.

Since everyone forgot already, this was the vaunted "promised vote" that Democrats accepted to end the shutdown. The result, as expected, is Democrats accomplished absolutely nothing except giving Susan Collins another free vote to pretend she's a reasonable centrist in her upcoming election.
