It really was! Lacked a little polish, but I enjoyed the book overall. I hope I'll get the chance to read the sequel (following the fmc's sister) when it releases.

THE UNWILLING PLUS ONE was quite a bit better than I thought it would be. A fun and quick read with two leads and a full supporting cast I actually enjoyed. Murder family and kidnapping plot...but funny, romantic, and healthy relationship goals (eventually).

I can't seem to watch the Fallout series without feeling compelled to play one of the games again.

The House in the Cerulean Sea is great! I'm also oddly proud of my copy being a misprint (the pages are upside down to the cover).

That's been a hard question for me too. I used to force myself, but then I would also be faced with the issue of giving an honest review at the end. Now, I DNF but try to explain my reasoning if communication is open.

I've decided to make my reading goal not based in the number of books for next year, but on reading itself. My goal is instead just to make sure I read every day, even if it's only a page.
