You shouldn’t finish every book you start.

Abandoning a book is not an admission of failure—it’s a sign of wisdom. You’ve decided to let go of sunk costs.

The purpose of reading is to be entertained and informed. If a book doesn't bring joy or insight, it’s time to move on.

Ways to show up for our libraries:

-Get a library card
-Regularly visit your library
-Use library services
-Donate books
-Attend library events
-Become a library “friend”
-Purchase their merch or from their book sales
-Volunteer

I'm not even a little bit surprised, and if you've been around then you probably aren't either lol.

This! I have always refused to get rid of dvds (movies and TV show sets), pick em up wherever I can, and have yet to be sorry for it. Same with books. They take up a lot of space, but at least they consistently exist for me. 🤷‍♀️
