Cripes. Below equates to CAD 4,700 or so. VAT should be added at 20% but if it's part of a solar install, VAT is waived. Sounds like we're damned lucky.

When I first received a quote (my memory for time is awful but I think about five years ago) it was £38k with no battery. Installation last year was £11k including a 9.5kWh battery.

I agree. This has to come from face-to-face difficult conversations that are increasingly unlikely to occur. One old friend of mine will no longer talk to me because I'm a "woke ****".

I tried it on there and it just doesn't work. It's too combative and too easy for them to disengage because the questions are challenging.

I'm afraid I just don't know the answer to this.

The other side of this is that Twitter isn't the place to deprogramme them. It requires time to check your understanding of their views enough that you can express it in their terms then asking what made them believe it and following up every answer. Takes an age and character limits won't allow it.

Friend of mine went through a dozen awful calls. Eventually he called his wife's car lease company with no hope left. He told them. They said "So sorry. Just give us a date when you want it collected." He said that was the entirety of the call bar checking pickup details.
