There aren't many Shavian serif fonts, though...

The inside is Doolittle Garamond, & the cover font is my creation (based on Politica, which was the cover font for my standard version).

Out of curiosity, what is making the cover font hard to read? Is it the shapes overall, or specific characters, or something else? Thank you for your feedback!

I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I totally get it, and I really feel what little rights we had have been taken away.

I've already posted about this, but I'm pretty pissed off that I never received my mail-in/drop off ballot to vote in Massachusetts. For the second time in a row! My town has a mayoral election today and I CAN'T VOTE because I'm disabled, exhausted after going to 3 medical appointments today!

I’m disabled and I was purged, too. Now I have to re-apply for a mail-in ballot, and they’re threatening to take away mail-in altogether here. How are we supposed to vote without mail-in? I can’t vote in person. This is against the ADA, but that’s the point, I guess.

Look at these crumbs. You can’t even make something from them. They just fall apart. Where’s the glue?

I left my dough out overnight and it just fell the moment I looked at it.

There’s no structure here. It’s all air and nothing. How am I supposed to make bread from this?!?

Fortunately, I've been editing markup languages since 1996, so no matter what the compiler spits at me, I can fix that in hours.

#Scrivener apparently can't handle nonstandard charsets well in compile, and googling for answers turned up nothing, since my use case is so marginal.

Sorry, just needed to vent someplace.

Anyhow, the print version is ready to publish – now I have to do this all again for ebook.

Fucking FINALLY got my print layout correct for the transliteration of my novel, Blue Are the Hills, into #Shavian.

#Scrivener has fought me every step of the way, such that I had to finally just accept the nonsense it vomited, then manually redo things – excruciatingly, painstakingly – in Acrobat.
