Specifically as the Joker in 1989's "Batman". :-) Good film. I loved it when I was 15, cemented Danny Elfman as one of my favorite score composers.

Mark Hamill is my favorite Joker actor, however.

Knocked off the elevated deck of my old house above a steep hill. The impact catapulted it right off its hanger, and it took some searching to find.

They are the honey badgers of bird feeders.

I can't endorse them enough. It is the only feeder I have ever used that squirrels actually give up on trying to get into and then ignore. Whenever we see one trying, we say, "That's a new squirrel."

They're tough, too. Had one hit by a falling tree and thrown 30 feet: fine with minor repair.

There. I rectified the bird feeder outage faster than the AWS outage.

We've been experiencing drought here in Maine, and the squirrels have been active from expecting a lean winter. I'll help them out. But it would have taken more than a dozen squirrels on that pole to bend it, and we don't have that many.

It was Stephen King. I know it...

AND FAILED!

These Lifelong Feeders are truly the best! Had 'em for years. We need a new pole, but I could fight off ninjas with these feeders, nunchaku-style!

He pointed his knife at the boy. “An oversized toad won’t stop me!”

“Dragon,” the child corrected.

The kidnapper shook his head, lunging as the chunky critter in the kid’s arms hissed.

A blast of frost and ammonia evoked his scream.
