This picture also reminds me that in the pet cpr and first aid class I took last weekend, there was a slide stating that in a rescue situation, a 10 lb cat is the equivalent of a 50 lb dog.

Today I got to walk Merle Haggard, who is an excellent pup.
I also moved a spider out of the way for a shelter staff member.
I addressed both lil guys as "hey buddy" in the same soothing tone of voice.

Yesterday I checked the list of Maryland state symbols on Wikipedia and when I saw "seal" as one of the categories I briefly got excited that there was an official state pinniped.
Obviously, it is not that kind of seal, but that just means there is room for improvement.

If you like to make homemade viniagrette, save your squeezy mustard bottles when the mustard is mostly used up, and make your vinaigrette in there. Uses up the last of the mustard, handy squeeze bottle - win-win.
