I don't have two hours to watch this at 200%, but I skimmed it a bit, and my impression is that a lot of people showed up believing that the Park Board's intent is to permanently close all parkways to cars without exception, including Wirth/Cedar Lake, one of the only north-south car connections.

The process of getting a warrant is type out your probable cause statement, call a judge and swear under oath that it’s true, and if the judge finds PC the warrant gets signed. It is not hard: if you have PC they sign. It’s so fucking easy even cops do it.

To start with, there are a ridiculous number of races on the ballot this year. If you live in the eastern half of Minneapolis, I think it comes out to 13, not counting judges. And then the way the DFL divvies it all up is not necessarily intuitive.

Right, and that makes sense to me. But the DFL Constitution does say, "Proportional voting may be used in any election where more than two individuals will be elected to the same office." Seems like it should be "more than one."

I understand why not when it's only a single delegate spot. I'm less clear on what happens when there are two. Does the majority get to elect both people due to gender balance?
