As a veteran who’s deployed, I know exactly what “in theater” means. It’s a military term for operations in foreign countries. Using it to describe Minneapolis isn’t accidental…and I can’t overemphasize how dangerous that language shift is.

There are Senate Democrats who loudly support defunding ICE—which is a reminder that the ones making weaker demands could ask for more too.

Keep calling! As we’ve seen in Minneapolis, a lot of momentum can build in two weeks.

I correctly predicted that Brad Finstad would be the CD1 Rep when Rep Hagedorn died. I predict that Sen Klobuchar will hold on to her Senate seat as long as possible (May?) and then announce a Lt Gov running mate. Gov Walz will then appoint Steve Grove as US Senator. Not sure who will be Lt Gov.

The big question is who’s gonna lead the Minnesota star tribune when the lieutenant governor running mate is announced?😂
