Morgan Barron is absolutely on fire to open the season. Five points in his first four games and he’s probably been the Jets best forward outside of the top-line.

Me neither. This is just a situation where you’d like to be able to call guys up. I just don’t think the Moose have enough guys ready to play in an NHL game.

Agreed. Curious how many Moose call-ups they make (if any?) with Lambert, Chibby, and maybe Salo out I’m just not sure who they’d call up.

Single game #NHLJets playoff tickets go on sale this Friday. Team expects less than 1,000 per game to be available to general public. Existing season ticket holders and new sign-ups for next year will have already grabbed the rest.

Does that mean they’ve seen a big increase in season ticket members for next season? Or are they anticipating season ticket holders buying lots of tickets for other people?

With Jack Hughes being out for the year, I have to wonder if New Jersey starts to sell their rentals.

SN hockey show speculating Pietrangelo is the chosen one from VGK who’s about to time a surgery to be this years LTIR guy just before the TD. He’ll of course time it so he’s out long enough to miss the regular season but be ready for the first game of the playoffs 🤔

The Athletic started publishing their market value and surplus value player cards. Here’s the 18 #NHLJets skaters they have published. Market value is $100M and surplus value is more than $30M. They don’t do this for goalies but would have to think Helle’s MV would be $12-$13M and SV would be $4-5M

I think Chibby has a lot of what you’d want on PK though. I’d love to see what he looks like there. Could fill in for Namestnikov on the PP too.

#NHLJets metrics last 10 games plus full season. Pretty dominant performance. MIN was a tired team and that’s textbook how to smother all hope. Team is more fun to watch with a 3rd pair that can actually do something creative in the o zone. Helle continues his march to a historic season GSAx = 2.43

If he played anywhere other than Winnipeg, there’d be like five people in the world MAX who don’t think Connor Hellebuyck is the best goalie in the world.

So good to see the Moose starting to get healthy. Can’t wait till Salomonsson’s back. But in theory, that’s a pretty good AHL team.
