Entry 72 in "nimi pi musi leko": jelo. For every color word, look for the triangle! All the color glyphs have a triangle in them.

A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "kule" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "color" and a picture of overlapping blotches of paint in red, yellow, blue, green, in purple.
Entry 71 in "nimi pi musi leko": kule. Welcome to the series's mini-study on color, which will be interesting with my self-imposed restriction to the EMOS16 palette.

A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "insa" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "inside" and a picture of a standard reference pear in a box on a table.
Entry 70 in "nimi pi musi leko": insa. Pear & Table returns, and please welcome: Box! That's all for page 7, and page 6 is also available now on my webpage: daphnestar.com/2025/07/09/t...

05.10.2025 14:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "noka" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "foot" and a close up picture of a humanoid robot's foot.
Entry 57 in "nimi pi musi leko": noka. ijo Kusanami's foot is shaped more like a shoe than a human foot. This is the word I swapped out for anpa a couple of weeks ago, so stay tuned for the page 6 summary graphic!

A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "lawa" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "head" and a picture of a woman's head.
Entry 68 in "nimi pi musi leko": lawa. I kind of like this outlining out-of-focus parts style; I think I'll stick with it for the other body parts.

On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "word" and a set of three arrows. The arrows point to the toki pona word, the English word, and the toki pona glyph.
Entry 67 in "nimi pi musi leko": nimi. It's a word that's part of the title of this series! To celebrate please enjoy these no reference highlighs and shadows

02.10.2025 23:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I grabbed The Void Rains Upon Her Heart as part of the Autumn Sale based on this post and 13 play hours later I'm still very happy I picked it up! Thanks for sharing~ (and thanks by extension to Vancouver Island)
02.10.2025 19:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0it's time for DOOM JUGGLING!
Ever since the Never Gonna Give You Up in Juggling Lab, people have been asking me to run Doom on Juggling Lab. But where's the fun in that? Why run one Doom in Juggling Lab when you could JUGGLE THREE DOOMS AT ONCE?
(You can only control the Doom that's at the top!)
A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "kute" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "ear" and a close up picture of a fox ear.
Entry 66 in "nimi pi musi leko": kute. Today's entry took so long because I originally intended this to be a human ear. If you want to know how that went, you may notice that the image is a fox ear, not a human ear!

"He's literally the prince."
"I'm so sorry; I don't mean to be a bother, but it really annoys me when people say literally when they mean figuratively. What's even the point of 'literally' when you use the word like..."
"He. Is. LITERALLY. The Prince."
"Oh I see! Complaint retracted."
A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "seme" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "what?" and a picture of a humanoid robot shrugging in confusion.
Entry 65 in "nimi pi musi leko": seme. Today's entry gets an asterisk because it can be any question; seme stands in for any word the speaker has a question about. A quick note that I'm going on break until mid-next week for travel again. See you then!

18.09.2025 19:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "o" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "hey!" and a picture of a Navi, the helper fairy from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Entry 64 in "nimi pi musi leko": o. Hey, listen! Today's entry gets an asterisk it's somewhat inaccurate. o is used to address others, but also to turn sentences into commands. In toki pona, you'd hear Navi say "o kute!" quite often~

17.09.2025 20:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "mu" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "mew" and a picture of a kitten calling out for their mother.
Entry 63 in "nimi pi musi leko": mu. Today's entry gets an asterisk because "mu" can mean any animal sound: mew, bark, hiss, neigh... Even the fox's signature scream, though "a" might be appropriate there instead!

Entry 62 in "nimi pi musi leko": anu. This scale is going one way or the other...

15.09.2025 15:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "a" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "ah!" and a picture of a woman cheering.
Entry 61 in "nimi pi musi leko": a. Today's entry gets an asterisk because "a" can mean any interjection, from shock to amazement to disgust to joy. I hope you don't mind seeing asterisks because we have quite a few coming...

A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "sinpin" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "front" and a picture of a standard reference pear in front of a table.
Entry 60 in "nimi pi musi leko": sinpin. That's the end of Pear & Table, and would be the end of page 6 if I hadn't switched those two words a couple days ago. But I did, so the full page collage will have to wait!

Entry 59 in "nimi pi musi leko": monsi. I considered waiting until tomorrow to post this since it's later in the day, but since it's going to be more Pear & Table we may as well get through it quicker.

A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "poka" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "near" and a picture of a standard reference pear next to a table.
Entry 58 in "nimi pi musi leko": poka. Entry 3 of 5 in the "Pear & Table" part of this series
#TokiPona #PixelArt
A pixel art image on a 64x64 canvas of the toki pona word "anpa" and its associated glyph on top. On the bottom is a rough English translation; the word "under" and a picture of a standard reference pear under a table.
Entry 69 in "nimi pi musi leko": anpa. We've skipped a few entries! This appears to be due to linguistic drift: noka is listed next in lipu sona pona and means "foot", but the additional connotation of "under" seems to have migrated to anpa, so I switched the two for this series.
