A great point, and I fear we know why: they don't anticipate there will be elections going forward—or if there are, their outcome will be structurally predetermined.

This administration doesn't appear to have any expectation that it will ever be hamstrung or out of power. Not in 2026, not in 2028.

Happy Avoid Labor Day.

May we all strive each day to be the person the puppy already thinks we are.

Especially since this rules out ever voting for any Republican.
