Possibly send you a “certified bank check” X amount over the agreed 25k. An email is sent saying we overpaid you. and ask for a portion of it back minus a little something extra for your troubles. By the time the certified check is discovered to be fake you lost X amount.

An illustrator alerted me to the attached email. Someone is impersonating me! Offering #kidlit illustrators fake deals!

This is not me! The deal-structure/schedule is insane. The deadline is quite friendly?! 10 picture books in 3 years?!

Please let me know if you receive an email like this!

Saturday, Hey cuz D and I are heading to the Guggenheim want to come? Me failing to get a selfie while one of my cousins always seems to take a good picture while the other just didn’t realize what was going on.

Yesterday i rode the carousal in @centralparknyc @centralparkcarousel nothing like connecting with your inner kid. I’m pretty sure that horse was laughing at me.
