Thank you for saying so, I'm particularly pleased with it. In my head it's a black finish with an inner red glow like some kind of stone, there are quite a few layers still to add to get it finished but there are other pictures on my profile of models I've completed showing the final effect.

Well after this weekend's efforts I now have an intercessor squad fully bronzed-up, three more bladeguard to match, and a captain on foot with neo-volkite and power-fist. I do wish Primaris had a neo-volkite squad option!

Last night's work wasn't the most exciting - taking these Intercessors off their old bases and cleaning up the feet ready for their new basing, but it had to be done at some point, and before it ruined the new paint scheme.

Thanks! Yeah, almost always custom for me - the narrative behind them is that they discovered Cawl had been a bit naughty and spliced their geneseed from raven guard *and* blood angels, so split from their parent chapter and struck off on their own.

Decided to start on the bronze last night, didn't have enough time to make notable progress on the blues.

Absolutely! I had completely failed to paint the five I got from a launch box until I recently decided to re-paint my marines from scratch in a new scheme - maybe that's why I always fail the roll to shoot on death?!?
