2 An individual Council Member was earlier told by a police officer on scene that the actions were not immigration related, however, federal law enforcement insignia of "ICE" and "HSI" were observed, adding to the confusion and distrust. Additionally, this Council Member sought information and clarity through official City Administration sources, to which they received no response.

2/ This part is especially damning - a council member (I presume @jchavezmpls.bsky.social but don’t know) actually REACHED OUT to administration sources and got the silent treatment. The Council Member was accurate & responsible, the Mayor incompetent and dissembling in trying to pin blame.

We know Mayor Frey likes to mislead with statistics (27 homeless, anyone?) but trying to portray himself as a small-donor champ is real spin. Omar Fateh has over 2x as many unitemized (under $100) small-donor contributions as Frey: $51,000 to $23,000. Frey as always is fueled by the wealthy.

it’s worth noting the PR blitz started during the convention too with mike erlandson visiting the press area and taking his complaints to multiple journalists there at like 8pm

Ultimately I stand by the integrity and analysis of everything I did. I have half a decade of experience in political and labor data. It would be a dangerous and anti-democratic precedent to set if the state party were to overturn the will of the delegates.
