my all of mpls write up is more diligently researched than the star tribune. i still have to update it for the latest campaign finance report but i listed every donor’s ward and excluded business address donations because that’s a tactic to hide their real address. strib didn’t differentiate there

another star tribune failure in not mentioning that john wall doesn't even live in minneapolis. it's clear they only read the decision, they didn't request hearing audio to listen, and we know they didn't send anyone to cover it, i was the only one there!

If sorting through her donor list isn't convincing, maybe you'd find it compelling that Millard told me that Latrisha Vetaw - the most conservative *do what landlords tell me to do* member of the city council - is her favorite.

counter-counterpoint: jacob frey is not minneapolis, much as he tries to pretend he is with "TEAM MPLS" campaign shirts, and they can't gaslight us into thinking he as an elected is intrinsically tied to the success of the city. they really want us thinking he's holding the barbarians at the gates

Instead of important info about SCC meetings or other party business people seem to believe they have license to use this list like a group chat or personal journal for their musings. Fix it.

I hope you will consider Hampton for #3 we need to make sure all 3 slots are filled to block Frey (I ranked 1. Fateh, 2. Davis, 3. Hampton). I think any of them are a huge improvement over the current mayor--even if I am more closely aligned with my first choice over the others.

Here's the thing yall...if we want this, those leaders need support from community organizing and individuals. Otherwise they're gonna burn out from trying to work with powers that be currently in place that are severely hostile for the sake of "civility".

Last thing: based on his testimony at the meeting tonight, John Maraist seems like the real deal, and I'm so glad we have him chairing the city party. 5/5
