They haven’t only cancelled the series, they are refunding the comics that are already created and recalling the issue that is already sold.

It’s an absolute shame that DC fired Gretchen Felker- Martin for exercising free speech and then @bsky.app suspended her account. Every writer here should be decrying this because we have to stand up for each other! This is ridiculous.

The answer to "What happened to [social justice movement]?" is pretty much always "it was suppressed by violence." Official and otherwise.

Far from the only way repression works (read the investigations into the co-option of the formal BLM org), but it's a major one.
