I think the fleece is definitely going to be expensive too. Which is a bummer for those who can't/don't want to make their own. So far I'm in $32 total for a jacket and letters.

09.02.2026 04:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Totally agree. I really like their focus on the "made in Canada" aspect. Apparently KT is all made in China. (I'd never heard of them before this, but their shit is bland AF and $$$$$$.

09.02.2026 03:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Now if my chenille letters would ever stop bopping around LA and get to me, I could actually work on my jacket. ππ
09.02.2026 03:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And I'm fuckin CACKLING bc the costume dept didn't even bother to stitch down the hole in the "D" in Canada and it's really obvious from the shadow here πππ
09.02.2026 03:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0There's some disk horse going on over on IG bc apparently the HR folks are indeed partnering with a different company to make/sell similar jackets. Original company is trying to claim credit for the original piece, even though the *costume designer* altered it & it's just the most basic jacket ever.
09.02.2026 03:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0After some more digging apparently the base for the original #heatedrivalry team Canada jacket was made by kuwalla tee and retails for $110 CAD. π¬ (and is sold out)
OR you could pick up a jacket on eBay for $17 US that's almost exactly the same thing.

Pretty happy with this for under $100.
The hose may not be clogged with debris! Mine was just frozen near the very top of the drain so any newly defrosted water overflowed. Once I melted the ice in the top 2" of the drain with hot water & a turkey baster, it drained! I used this guide to take the back panel out and expose the drain hole:
07.02.2026 07:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This. Science and democracy are linked. We canβt put science advocacy in a bubble and do it aloneβ the fascism, division, and attack on experts and trust are *the reason* science is under attack.
Plus the inside advocacy alone does not work! Just look at what happened with MYF this year.
That's going to be so lovely!!
