After the 2030 census, California and New York are going to lose electoral college votes.
Texas and Florida will gain votes.
We have to flip Texas now and keep it blue.
Otherwise, we’ll lose the White House and the House in 2032.

I know this comes up every damn election cycle, but I seriously think the one thing that would immediately bring down Trump and result in a massive turn against him by Republican politicians is if Texas flipped, even just once. Texas is literally the only reason Republicans have a chance in hell.

This is accurate. The GOP politicians have gerrymandered it so much that it can feel like a waste of time to vote for state and U.S. House seats, but local, state level and Senate seats are in play if people vote!

I have told people for years that Texas isn’t a red state. Texas is a state that doesn’t vote. If everyone in Texas votes, the state would be as blue as its state flower. (Note: the Texas state flower is the blue bonnet.)
