Thanks - I really need to take a close look at one I think, that just sounds like a fabulous thing to bond with over the years.

Now I really love the Rocketeer, but oh my days just look at that!!! And I love that these lumps are not that much heavier than the standard 4 pot - seems incredible.
Still think my heart's with a Rocketeer though - somehow a 6 seems more fitting for over here, even if it's a V.

I'd forgotten you have this as well as the GSA. I've loved these since staring at one mouth agape as a young teenager through a showroom window in Blackpool of all places!! Never managed to try one all these years later - is it vintage but epic.... or just epic?
And against that sky, 😍

I always struggle for a comfortable fit too, but then I'm quite long limbed. Maybe it's to do with the likelihood of them moving during impact and abrasion? I suppose we need them to protect if the worst happens rather than be super comfy the rest of the time πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ?

This is excellent news - welcome! I was only thinking recently how much I miss your long threads about your car ownership. Are you still based in Stamford? Just moving there next week!

Thanks, appreciate it πŸ‘. Good to learn a little about our housemates!

Thanks, really interesting - and a bit worrying too. So with the house spiders, if I need to find somewhere to relocate them I tend to use a dry leafy corner of the garden but I worry that I'm placing them in danger. Any tips, given the family pressure to move them out of the house?

Fab, thanks. I didn't recognise it without the background of a screaming family 😁. Interesting about the false widows, cos we get a few of them in the garage too. Is that a species competition problem, or something a bit more "murder-y".

@norwichgiant.bsky.social Hi Rory. I seem to remember that you're a bit of an expert on mini-beasts. I found this one lurking under the garden furniture earlier. Any chance you know what it is?

I've had to start holding the connector in place until the charge initiates on my MG - only with Gridserve which seems really odd! It's become a bit of a habit now
