04.10.2025 18:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Congratulations!!
18.09.2025 02:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh man, at CostumeCon years ago attendees were talking about the Historical Masquerade competition and how a past winner had tanned their own leather using ummmβ¦. natural, renewable resources they harvested directly from the horse. Thatβs when I knew I wasnβt dedicated enough for THAT competition.
08.09.2025 18:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So have I! So grateful for all the writers that keep me sane during the long, long hiatus.
07.09.2025 16:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Eeeeeee!!!! I canβt wait either!
07.09.2025 03:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iron, b12 and vit D. If youβre low on one, youβre probably low on the others as well. Itβs incredible how much it can affect you. I canβt always tell when my numbers are improving, but the monitor on my watch catches it. My heart rate decreases, my sleep quality increases, I get more exercise etc
31.08.2025 16:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm cycling between excited, sad, anxious and all the other things. Husband and I are happy to rediscover ourselves (but older), and will miss them. Thank goodness they still want and do movie/game/craft night hangouts. They just happen online now.
24.08.2025 20:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs official. I have an empty nest with both kids in college.
Oldest is finishing up his Masters in BioMed Engineering (5yr Bachelor/Master program), and youngest just started their freshman yr going into Applied Math (Cryptography) with a side of Theater Tech.
It will do that, and make you gasp, and shout "NOOOOO!" so loudly family might check on you.
23.08.2025 21:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Of course he did! <3
23.08.2025 21:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He looks so excited and happy! All the good things for this Jaskier!
23.08.2025 21:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs SO GOOD! I love this show so much, and you can tell that it is very much a table of trust.
22.08.2025 04:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Incredible work! I could go on about a lot of things (colors, highlights, tattoo, cloak) but Iβm agog over her FINGERS!!!
20.08.2025 23:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We've had our tabby brothers over 7 years now and we STILL rave about what a great foster they had as kittens. She really did set her fosters up for success.
13.08.2025 16:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm so relieved for you!
13.08.2025 01:59 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Can confirm, twirling in big skirts is incredibly fun and addictive. Organizing the rest? Much harder (and expensive). I think that's why cosplayers make the big gowns. We can wear them to conventions and make new friends for the cost of admission.
12.08.2025 22:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's so pretty!! I love that color too
08.08.2025 18:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Eek! What a nightmare. Donβt forget to do the boiling water, baking soda/vinegar maintenance thing to your sink drains. If theyβve gotten down there you can eliminate all the normal locations and never get rid of them completely.
07.08.2025 22:21 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's a medical Monday. Spent the last few hours making Dr appts for family members, refilling specialty scripts, confirming appts etc. And this was an EASY day with little wait time. The US healthcare system is set up to fail patients who don't have the time or knowledge to do this work.
04.08.2025 15:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Look into those cut proof gloves if you can. They aren't perfect, but they do offer some protection. My mom sent me a set to use with my rotary cutter (for fabric) after I had a little incident and ended up at the ER getting things glued back together.
01.08.2025 19:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh no! Mandolins and graters always scare me for that reason, even though I use them. Food processors and guards are my friend.
01.08.2025 16:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nooooo!!!!! My youngest and I were just talking about him yesterday! We both have enjoyed his music for YEARS (decades for me) and they are about to go to college for mathematics. He was their role model! π₯²
27.07.2025 20:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You arenβt alone! Our youngest starts college next month and then both kids will be gone! Itβs still hard to imagine and I know my husband is going to be devastated.
17.07.2025 21:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Two tabby cat brothers, Phineas and Ferb curled up together on a blanket.
"We're gonna see just how well this cat calming pheromone spray works," as I spritz the carriers for the double vet appt this afternoon. I've just spent a week dealing with non-recognition aggression (it's going poorly) so from now on Phineas and Ferb go together whether they both need it or not.
15.07.2025 15:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's been months of med/dental appts for the family, incl the cat. Now the cats aren't tolerating each other, we still don't have on-campus housing confirmed for the youngest next month, the world is on fire, and I am anxious.
I can only ask so much of the KPop Demon Hunter soundtrack.
We have a few of the other games you mentioned, and also brought Code Names. This particular age group isnβt βnewβ complex rule friendly so quick, simple, chaotic fun works well.
06.07.2025 11:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I just picked up Really Loud Librarians before visiting with my in-laws. Simple concept, super quick to pick up, and three generations (teens-grandparents) were able to play together and had fun. This would be more of a short and silly game, works with teams and uneven teams are ok.
06.07.2025 11:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe they're all over at KPop Demon Hunters? Though to be fair, I hadn't seen much beyond yours for a while before that came out.
04.07.2025 14:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's great! I didn't keep too many G1 from my childhood, but I do have the original 6 (I collected boxtops and ordered by mail the 1-2 I couldn't find in the store when I was 10), and maybe the first unicorn/pegusus ponies.
My youngest loved MLP for years, so we have a lot of G3-4
