Netherlands - 42 popular votes? Dissed. Malta only got 8? What the hell is wrong with you people? Denmark completely slighted with 2 popular votes. Switzerland 0? If next year there’s no acts like Tommy Cash or KAJ, I probably won’t sit for it. But I’m a couch potato, so I probably will. (3/3)

Israel won the popular vote? Politics aside, really? That was in no way the best song.


My opinion of the qualifiers softened a bit in the final, and my list, in no order, was: Malta, Luxembourg, Estonia, Spain, Latvia, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. (2/3)

TL/DR: Eurovision is shit and I should stop investing any time and emotion into it.

Jury voting insures that quirky/tongue-in-cheek acts don't win the contest, but popular vote results aren't much better. #eurovision2025 (1/3)

Finally realizing after watching this for the third year that schmaltzy would-be broadway show stoppers is what they vote for.

Glad Malta and Luxembourg made it. I was hoping for Ireland and I liked Australia's song, but their stage show was basically a magic act. Everything else, again, was sucksville. #eurovision2025

Estonia and Sweden advance, so all is right with the world. I also like Spain. The rest of the first-round qualifiers? M'eh.
