I've just read the book, today I watched #Carrie again as a comparison.
With what happened to Carrie I couldn't show that climatic scene, she was bullied by too many people so I chose this serene moment

Back when TV was cool, possibly before some who are looking at this picture were born. You missed out on cool, it disappeared in the mid 1990's

I'm still very much shaken up with #Ozzy at times it's difficult to draw this by hand with his music on.
This is a week's worth of #drawing minus a couple of days off because I was in Brum to pay my respects and be there for his family.

Photographed on my pilgrimage yesterday. This is The Crown in Birmingham, a shut down pub that saw the birth of #BlackSabbath. Hoping it'll become a museum and live venue.
There is also a severe lack of #Ozzy albums around at the moment. Shops can't stock them quick enough.

Yesterday before Ozzy's family arrived with a brass band. I was told they'd expected 500,000, I think it went over that.
There was no way I was going to film Ozzy and his family going past me, they didn't need camera lenses. I was there for #Ozzy at #BlackSabbathBridge to show respect.

I imported the dvd box set a while ago, on season 4 of 5 it's a really cool show that was the start of a lot of cop shows.
There's a authenticity to the series that captures the change from the late 60's to the early 1970's

I was there.
I was one of over 500,000 people all there to honour #Ozzy
While I was at the front of the railings dressed in purple and black I didn't film the procession out of respect for Ozzy and his family.

This is where things are going to get difficult tomorrow. Back to Brum dressed in Sabbath colours to be there to pay my respects to Ozzy.

Last year I voted every day for #Ozzy to receive this #RockandRollHallofFame award. I finally got to see what those daily votes gave him but it also protected his legacy.
Below was the award to #BlackSabbath but this was for his solo career.

I was there yesterday. I had to be. Flowers were laid, people sung his songs and Ozzy's music was everywhere around Brum.
Not all the sights were visited because I had to que for 1:30hrs to write in the condolence book.
I'll return for part two of Ozzy's pilgrimage in the next couple of weeks.

I'm an artist and cartoonist, it's a thing I've taught myself how to do.
This was drawn using a mouse and took about six minutes although I prefer physical media and drawing with pencils.

We had something very similar in the UK before, it was called "The Video Recordings Act" or Video Nasties.
Almost every film was censored for our protection, it wasn't until James Ferman left the BBFC that we got to see Enter The Dragon uncut and The Exorcist.

I was planning a different portrait that was going to begin on Friday. Photo was printed out to work from, I just needed to start drawing. Then yesterday. And I can't in good conscience draw someone else other than Ozzy. Not at the moment.
I'm sitting in front of two pics and I may draw both.

I never met #OzzyOsbourne but he autographed this and I drew him.
When Ordinary Man was released in 2020 there was a rare special edition with four tape variants, the vinyl and this CD

#Ozzy never sung A World Without Heroes but that's what today is. Most of my heroes are gone now.

Just like Lemmy & Bowie #OzzyOsbourne has left a chasm in this world that will never be replaced.

The one thing I've never liked about my #portraits is when I draw someone and it becomes a tribute when they are gone.

Still haven't got the sticker chase cards.

Isn't he more of a diseased apricot tone? Maybe a bruised peach or that colour I use to paint my fence in the summer?

I once shared a taxi with Ron Moody going back to a hotel after a convention. He had us singing Got to Pick a Pocket or Two with him reprising his role as Fagin in the Oliver musical, we were the urchins.
Also met George Romero who told me the title of Diary of the Dead before it was public.

A complete restoration of something my Grandad created in the 1970's. This is made with tacs on plywood painted black and then two colours of cotton twisted around the tacs.
The cotton had rotted decades ago and I've just spent four days restoring it to this.
