A few dearly loved favorites for this week, which should probably all be 5 stars for me personally, if only for the insane number of times I’ve rewatched them

Frightening face carved into a turnip to place a candle in "In 1943 the National Museum of Ireland received a turnip lantern from a schoolteacher, Rois Ní Braonáin who was teaching near Fintown, Co. Donegal. She stated that it was the type that was always made in that locality around 1900. This plaster-cast model was created and painted by the museum artist, Eileen Barnes. Candles were placed inside the turnips and they were used to frighten people on the night of 31 October. Had a similar experience with toric contacts and got insane headaches. I could see freakishly crisp at a distance but could not read my phone and attempting to focus made me want to puke lol. Nightmare scenario for drawing and painting close up 🤢

Got my updated Flu and Covid vaccines at the pharmacy today! CVS is so easy, I scheduled early this morning online and got in same day. Shots were free (most insurance and Medicaid covers them)

Taking it easy today and watching more spooky movies!

Enjoyed this one after the reveal, I’m so glad I saved that surprise. I thought this one was going to have a very different vibe
