When the Skywalker twins were born, the surviving members of the council (Mace Windu and Yoda) decided to split them up and hide them with two different families. Luke would be adopted by Senator Bail Organa and his family from Alderaan, and Leia would be taken in by the Lars family on Tatooine.

After his only son was injured during a rescue attempt during the Siege of Alderaan, Emperor Vader commissioned the Kaminoans to have his son cloned, while the real Luke was kept somewhere safe. The cloned Luke would be trained in the ways of the dark side, end become the Emperor’s primary enforcer, Darth Kane.

Luke clone / Darth Kane - deformities are a result of flaws in the cloning process.

The MA5B was the assault rifle model featured in Combat Evolved. I re-worked the proportions to give more room for the trigger mechanism, magazine, and bolt. I also interpreted the shroud/ammo counter and handguard with flashlight to be removable attachments. They can be swapped out for other equipment such as various sights, grips, or even a grenade launcher. Even though the MA series is showing its age, it remains popular with the UNSC Marine Corps. This way the “Individual Combat Weapon System” moniker has more meaning. This weapon can be tailored for any combat situation with ease.

My take on the Halo 2 Battle Rifle is somewhat based on the proportions of the real-life KelTec RDB. The BR55 was designed as a next-generation combat rifle that is simpler in design and function compared to the MA5. To make up for the lack of customizability, the new 9.5x40mm cartridge hits harder, faster, and further than the antiquated 7.62x51mm round the MA5 utilized. The BR55 was issued to a handful of different branches of the UNSC military, but is almost always seen carried by ODST fireteams deployed on off-world missions. The overall look is meant to be sleek and tactical, while retaining the core design elements from both Halo 2 and 3.

Wanted to do my own take on the universe, and I started with re-designing some of the game’s weapons.

Idea here was to take inspiration from real firearms, such as using realistic proportions but staying true to the source material.

(Left) Piper Filipowicz - freelance mercenary / bounty hunter. Former guitarist of a small-time Pluto-based punk band. Her music career was cut short when a spaceship crash-landed in the middle of a concert. (Right) Sally (also known as Experiment 5411-Y) - Piper’s freelancer partner, and a member of a long lost alien race. She was discovered in an abandoned military research space station and has no memory of her past.

Derek Xi - Member of an intergalactic mercenary outfit known as “Zenith”. Also Piper’s ex who occasionally comes to her with tips on high-value bounties. However the quality of these “tips” vary.

Soldier of the Interstellar Federal Republic’s Galactic Marines. The IFR was created from the remnants of the governments of the United States and NATO countries. This new government has since relocated to earth’s moon and retains control of most of the Sol system and a few outlying colonies.

Soldier of the Singchen Dynasty’s Asrospace Forces. The Singchendigwo (which roughly translates to “Empire of the Stars”) also commonly referred to as “The Dynasty” is currently the Milky Way’s most powerful governing body. The Dynasty’s origins trace back to the Chinese astronauts that became the very first colonizers of the Alpha Centari system. Since then they have expanded to several other systems and are constantly at war with the IFR over territorial gains.

My scifi comic project has been in the works for almost 10 years now, but I’m just going to challenge myself to get it done, and not worry about things that aren’t perfect.

Better to have an imperfect something than a perfect nothing.

Fun fact - the PS2 era “Revenge of the Sith” game has an alternate ending where Anakin kills Obi-Wan and Palpatine and becomes emperor.

German Waffen-SS operative, circa 1981 In this timeline, the militarized wing of the Nazi SS are elite fanatics that conduct operations that, officially, are to serve German military or political interests - but unofficially, they serve the Party’s interests. SS operatives are heavily armed, ruthless, and lethal. Anyone who stands in their way become targets. Even some German Reich leadership find their methods questionable and their morality even more so.

Wehrmacht trooper - standard German infantry - 1981. Equipped with the latest advancements in battlefield technology.

South African variant of the Wehrmacht combat uniform. The Südafrikaner Korps were deployed shortly after South Africa joined the German Empire in 1978, kicking off the Southern African Crisis.

Aaron Clarke, Western Allied Broadcasting Company war correspondent. Tasked with ground coverage of active combat zones while embedded with a WAMS infantry squad. Unofficially, his job is to capture footage for propaganda, but some other journalists have been caught leaking their experiences to underground media outlets… exposing the brutality of a war that’s been waging for decades.

Pvt. Sandra Smith Combat Medic, Western Allied Military Services (WAMS) Former paramedic from St. Louis, MO. Was caught stealing medicinal drug supplies from ambulances in order to administer them to patients without proper medical insurance. Due to this violation of Western Allied Corporation & Trust’s policies, she faced either a 60 year prison sentence or mandatory military service. She chose the latter. Sandra only wanted to help others when she knew she had the power to do so, but now she’s facing the consequences of a corrupt and greedy system.

Cpl. Jax Torres WAMS Torres is a career soldier who joined WAMS after becoming fed up with his impoverished life in New York City. He has aspirations of becoming an “Ace” - highly decorated celebrity soldiers, lauded for their heroic deeds and commitment to the war effort. They are rewarded with luxury accommodations and paraded as the faces of much of Western Allied’s marketing (and propaganda). After unsuccessfully trying every avenue to improve his situation, war was where he decided to go next. Torres is a good man who looks after his comrades, even though his motivations are self-centered.

All current character designs for potential comic project “Anti-Trust” - set in an alternate 1980s where WWII never ended, and the war is now fought between a multi-trillion dollar American megacorporation, and a German empire that spans half the globe. (1/2)

A “Sentry” - the result of a curse on a prisoner of war, transformed into a hideous floating creature that is used to spy on enemies. Think of it as a really ugly camera drone that occasionally screams.
