Agreed, I don’t think saros is truly available, Blackwood is interesting but far from proven, and Gibson hasn’t had good numbers for years. When Gibson was good he was elite, but big gamble to take, even at half retained. Haven’t heard many other names.

For scoring I agree on consistency, but for overall driving play and defensive game I think McLeod was clutch. Shutdown C there they didn’t appreciate until gone.

The Oilers SHOULD be learning some hard lessons right now watching McLeod and Holloway ripping it up elsewhere. But do they care and are they actually learning? Youth and speed is not easy to replace.

Target teams in desperation mode. Dubas is smart but in a bad way and has a lot of “old money” there, I’d be trying to sell him his old captain back, even if it includes Jarry or karlsson coming the other way.

Agreed on the caps, a ton of smart thinking and smooth execution paying off. Hopefully it rubs off on the oil

We have seen a ton of bad players moved, if there’s a will there’s a way, just gotta stop giving good players away to buffalo and St. Louis.
