U.a. weil ich selbst skeptisch bin, habe ich ja die Frage gestellt, ob irgendwo jemand schon mal mehr Details zur in Aussicht gestellten Technologie gesehen hat. Hat aber offenbar niemand, inklusive Sie. Die Nanopartikel sind ja nur im "Schutzlack". Dass könnte eine übliche Solgelbeschichtung sein.

Das war genau meine Frage, ob das eine Phantasietechnologie ist, oder ob Mercedes irgendwas Reales in der Hinterhand hat. Bezahlbarkeit scheint bei der Studie ja nicht der Hauptgedanke gewesen zu sein.

This is really hard to tell. It would require to resuscitate a whole industry ecosystem and this requires some dedicated and reliable industry policy.
