Sad so many believed the propaganda from the far right that the European Union was “oppressive” to national identity. Now the far right is building a movement across Europe, aided by far right and dark money from the US. Is that not oppressive? People are about to find out what real oppression is.

Agreed and it’s not only all women. All parent, too. Men are also parents. I know my husband uses and benefits from his workplace flexibility when it comes to helping with his equal share of our child rearing responsibilities.

Sure, the government has power to do almost anything against anyone, including a green card holder, but the point of living in a nation where there is the rule of law is that the gov is supposed to follows laws and proper procedures that absolutely do apply to gov actions.
