Are @chadquandt.com and I the only people that remember the Nemesis System is under lock and key for no good reason every 6 months and become enraged?

If WB has to be sold (it doesn’t) then the first company to agree to release Shadow of Mordor’s Nemesis System to the public can have it.

It also rewarded my extreme RPG explorer tendencies almost immediately with a beret and sunglasses for Gustave. Perfection. No notes.

Maybe melodrama isn't quite the right term here. I think the game goes hard in the paint making sure you're emotionally invested and devastated from the very first moments on.

And man is it a pretty game.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has its hooks in me HARD.

It's really scratching my old school Final Fantasy itch. Something about the characters, the world, the melodrama are giving me acid flashbacks to playing FFVII and FFVIII in the best way.

I don't think pointing out the fascists' 'hypocrisy' is a good use of time. It's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy. They actually do believe that they have the right and obligation to dominate you because they are superior to you. They are using their power not being hypocritical.
