I'm grateful that I was introduced to a village of queer art folks at a young age. Even if some of that experience was seeing them hide parts of themselves from the larger bigoted world.

Nice! It's a lovely show. My dad was in a production that was supposed to run 16 weeks, ran 6 years instead 😅

My parents were both artists (musical theatre and graphic design). Instead of daycare, my sibling and I would often sit in the corner booth of a Branson dinner theatre watching our dad perform as Jackson in the "Pump Boys and Dinettes" musical while the theatre staff fed us meatloaf and green beans.

Update: At this morning’s daily meeting, FEMA Acting Administrator Richardson spoke briefly only to say he has an upcoming trip to…Peru. No mention of Texas.
