The beach here has these jelly like sacs that are apparently egg sacs for cone snails.

All the mussels, or moules as the French call them.

Finally at the campsite where we will be spending the next 6 days. In a little cabin though. The original plan was to bring a camper van but it was not working out so we got rid of it. Enjoying some minutes at a pool before they kick us out.

Today we’re in the beautiful and quaint little town of Dinan. Really old and beautiful and historic. With lots of crepes.

Same for us. But we had seen a video about the place with the butter so nipped in especially. Nice that you made it ☺️

Noice. We were in Portsmouth last night and it did feel rather cold.

Always freaks me out that fact. To me Pyrex is this awesome material. Always scared I may acquire some American stuff some day by mistake and it will shatter in the oven etc.

Slept on a ferry last night. Haven’t done that in a very long time. Probably nearly 20 years now. Def over 15. Last time they let us on well early. This time we were not in our cabin till about 11pm. Made quite a late night considering we had to be out of the cabin by half six.

Hello from St Malo! We’ve been blessed by a beautiful day. A very beautiful and touristy town full of crepes and such like. Even the touristy stuff seems to be classy. An easy way to spend way too much money.

Portsmouth is actually chilly, y’all. Slightly worried that may not have packed enough layers.

Heading towards Brittany. Had considered the Calais option but adds so much extra driving that it was easier this way.

But yeah, not a bad way to do either or.

Starting with some cream teas at a National Trust place 45 minutes from Portsmouth. Best way to break up the journey. The scones were fresh so no pics.
