I appear to be coming down with something. I have an awful cough. I really hope it's not covid given that I just had my jab last weekend. Also it's very inconvenient timing, I have so much to do next week!

That's great news! And I totally understand what you mean about having the independent income, I'm in the same position with my husband. I like to feel that I can contribute a bit to the household, even if it's not much.

I went to bed grumpy and woke up still in a bad mood. But I was out with my parents and had a good chat about things and I think I'm feeling a bit better now.

Rosie is so upset with the fireworks. It's heartbreaking seeing her like this. I am usually quite a calm person, but I honestly want to go and fight every single selfish idiot doing this to her.

It shocking how few people can get it on the NHS now. It seems really short-sighted. We paid for the private ones but it's a lot of money. But I'm reassured to see so many people on my timeline doing the same.

Nooooo they can't fix it, but that is because the dishwasher is fine, it's actually the socket that is faulty, so now we need to find an electrician to look at it. Annoying to have to wait longer, but still probably cheaper than a whole new dishwasher.

Ours is a small one but that's fine for just two people. My parents actually got rid of their one to get more cupboard space, I can't understand that at all!

Our dishwasher stopped working last week, we've got a repair person coming to looking at it this afternoon. Please keep your fingers crossed that it can be fixed soon, because washing the dishes by hand is miserable, but I also don't want to have to buy a whole new dishwasher.

I got some thermal socks from them a few weeks ago and I am still thrilled by how warm and comfy they are!

Today we're getting a charger installed for the new car. I'm really pleased with the car, it's so nice to drive, and I definitely think it was the right time to switch to electric.

A neighbour is blasting horribly loud music and it's really annoying me. I'm so worried about fireworks later on too. Rosie gets so distressed by them and I hate seeing her like that. The noise bothers me too. So I'm an overloaded wreck right now.

I massively overestimated how cold it would be, I needed to take my scarf off halfway round the supermarket.

Oh yeah it's definitely not the weather for it at the moment!
