Back for more on the local Woodchat today. As an inland Cheshire birder it makes a nice change to have a rarity (of sorts) just minutes from the house. And who doesnโt love a shrike? #ukbirding

Ace day out in Wales.
Spent a few hours watching vocal Goshawks grapple & display. Nearby 3 Adders were a joy.
Then to Flint for the Twite flock. Never seen them feeding high in birch before. Must be a spring thing?
Complemented with views across the Dee & hordes of waders.
Bliss. #ukbirding

25.08.2024 11:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The horrific legacy of diclofenac continues. The effects on vultures were known decades ago, so surely the manufacturers & vendors of this horror drug are equally responsible for these human deaths too?
