Spent a few hours watching vocal Goshawks grapple & display. Nearby 3 Adders were a joy.

Then to Flint for the Twite flock. Never seen them feeding high in birch before. Must be a spring thing?

Complemented with views across the Dee & hordes of waders.

A day in the office with the window open, listening to c2,000 pinkfeet. There’s been an amazing increase in recent years here in Cheshire. I’ve never seen a flock on the ground here before, but could get used to it. Fabulous birds to have around.
